I took down Moths to a Flame today...

I hate taking an installation like this down, because it just ends up in shoe boxes on my shelf - basically, it ceases to exist.

On the other hand, if you've got to take an installation down, it's very satisfying to simple cut the threads and pop it into a shoebox.

4 days to put up, 45 minutes (including chatting with the curator and watching Leon jump off stairs) to take down.

Is the pith stable enough that you could theoretically put up this whole installation again, or does it eventually start to decay?

This is a lot of the same pith I used last year for artomatic, and some of it is even older, from 2005 - and I'm not seeing changes in any of it yet. So the wax gives it quite a bit of longevity.
