What do you think?

If you're a regular visitor to this blog, you've probably noticed that it has gone through a number of format changes in the last week - specifically, the addition of navigation buttons (above), the more specific title and profile, and the new sub-pages, with a fuller artists statement, Gallery and Resume/Contact sections.

My plan is to continue blogging my work progress here - on alexzealand.blogspot - while I've created a new blog site - alexandrazealand.blogspot - for the gallery, and a more professional view on my work.

I know that blogger is not ideal for a professional site, and I do have plans to put up an actual site within the next year. But until then, please let me know what you think of these changes. Is there anything obvious I've left off the resume/contact pages? Language that's not professional enough? How does the artist statement on the Gallery pages read? Anything else? (As of this posting, the link-colors on the Resume/Contacts/Press page are weird, as is the font - I'm still working on those.)

How about a link on the Alex page to the Alexandra page and vice versa?

The 'Gallery home' is the alexandra page and the 'Blog Home' is the alex page - is that too confusing?

I played with the language a little on the navigation buttons - is it clearer? Was it necessary?

i only actually visit the site if i'm commenting. otherwise i just use my rss reader to view the content.

So the contents not any different if you're just using the reader, right?

Boost up the gallery section - though you already knew that.

Like the grape basket/bird piece much better without the box. Also, the photos are particularly good of this piece.
