Snowflake #2


Here's another snowflake. It's hard to tell from this picture, but I used gold clips this time, instead of silver ones (I also tried the colored one, but that just looked wrong). For this one, I took Ben's idea about unhooking the arms of the clips, in order to thread them through each other, and that gave it a lot more symmetry. I like this, but I'm not falling in love. If I were to pursue this idea, I'd make a dozen or so, using only metallic clips, and hang them somewhere that they could rotate. Anyone have a big window that needs winter decorations?

So I'm really not doing much this week outside of work, except catching up on laundry. Mostly I'm recovering from the excitement of last week, and not sleeping because of Leon's cold as well as my own. I think I'm having a touch of post-show-letdown - go figure.
